Our family learned theology at the dinner table. Not in tidy lessons or polished answers, but in the spaces where life pressed hardest. Church was never something we attended on Sundays and left behind. It followed us home. It sat down with us for supper. Sometimes it arrived carrying grief, hard questions, or stories that needed sorting through in the light of Scripture.

We chase work-life balance, ministry-family balance, and self-care balance, hoping that if we can organize everything correctly, peace will follow. Yet many of us discover that even when life looks balanced on paper, our souls remain weary.

Motherhood has a way of revealing both our strengths and our limits. The constant interruptions, demands, and ordinary pressures often expose places where patience, wisdom, energy, and grace seem to run out. We tend to view those moments as failures, but what if our lack is actually an invitation?
